Zombie Crawl - THRILL Visalia! - Zombie Ball - Brain Eating Contest

ZOMBIE CRAWL - 5:30 - 6 PM
The Zombie Crawl begins in the parking lot of Howie & Son's Pizza at 5:30 PM and goes to approximately 6:00 PM. We will shamble our way up and down Mooney Blvd. to return to Howie & Son's, where we then will kick off the group Thriller Dance.
The Zombie Crawl has been one of the most-talked about parts of the Visalia Zombie Ball & Crawl - so don't miss out! Arrive on time and be a part of the horde of hungry zombies taking over Mooney Blvd!
We will briefly do a quick walkthrough on how to shamble and stagger your way along the crawl. This will begin at approximately 5:30 PM in the Howie & Son's parking lot, where we also will wait for any zombies running a little behind. The Zombie Crawl will end at approximately 6:00 PM.
Zombie Crawl Rules
Stay in character, but use your braaaains, and keep it fun and safe.
1.) As the Visalia Zombie Crawl is alongside a major boulevard, stay on the sidewalk unless crossing the street in a crosswalk. When crossing, cross quickly - break character momentarily and turn into the "Dawn of the Dead"-remake 'sprinter zombies'. Don't block or interfere with traffic! Once on the sidewalk, please continue to shamble and stagger your way along the crawl route.
2.) Stick together! If there are stray zombies that do not cross the street in time, please wait until the group can reunite again and continue the crawl. While waiting, feel free to grunt at onlookers, but please remember to not interfere with traffic.
3.) Respect your surroundings! Please, no littering or vandalism/damage to ANY property, and don't annoy any innocent bystanders not partaking in the crawl. This includes smearing fake blood on anything, or banging on doors or windows. Don't ruin the fun for everyone else!
4.) Stay in character! The visual impact of the crawl will be better if we all stay in undead-mode the entirety of the route!

ZOMBIE BALL - 6:30 PM
The third-annual Visalia Zombie Ball & Crawl will take place Saturday, October 8th, 2011 in Visalia, CA at Howie & Son's Pizza Parlour. Admission is $5 for zombies and $7 for the living.
The event will feature live and dead entertainment by the Stellar Corpses out of Santa Cruz, CA and The Drive-In Ghouls out of Los Banos, CA, as well as music from our zombie DJ Dan!
Event attractions include our Brain Eating Contest, the crowning of our second Creepshow Queen Contest, our annual Creepy Cadaver Costume Contest. You must apply ahead of time to participate in the Brain Eating Contest and the Creepshow Queen Contest. It is free to enter the Creepy Cadaver Costume Contest with admission.

KID'S CREEPY CADAVER COSTUME CONTEST - Time TBA
Our Creepy Cadaver costume contest, exclusively for kids! The Kid's Costume Contest is towards the beginning of the evening, so young zombies that need to crawl back into their graves early still have a shot at prizes!

Costumes will be judged on creativity, originality, effort and crowd reaction.
It is free to enter Creepy Cadaver Contest with paid admission to the Zombie Ball.
